Banka Kovanica d.d. belongs to a group of smaller banks, which managed to overcome all the transformations of the banking market and achieve the requirements for carrying out all the banking activities.
In accordance with the development plan bank has introduced its banking services in a competitive market offers aimed at legal entities and individuals.
The bank was founded as a Štedionica Kovanica by decision of the founders at the founding assembly of 26 February 1997. Štedionica was in 2002 transformed into Banka Kovanica and today operates in 15 offices around the Croatia.
Since May 2007 Banka Kovanica became majority owned by Cassa di Risparmio della Repubblica di San Marino, the well respected bank with a 125-year-old banking tradition.
Development plans of the Banka Kovanica in the coming period include improvement of existing services, expanding product offerings in the sectors of the economy and citizenship, further development of business networks and entering a circle of 15 leading banks in Croatia.
In accordance with ownership change, Banka Kovanica is preparing for the overall implementation of the rebranding process in the following period, in order to wear and present the name its majority owner in Croatia.
Banka Kovanica is registered in the register of the Commercial Court in Varaždin. The Bank's equity has been paid in full, amounts to 142,964,400.00 HRK (HRK) and makes 1,429,644 pieces of ordinary shares of Series A unit with a nominal value of HRK 100.00.
