Banka splitsko-dalmatinska has been established in 2002 by merging of the Štedionica splitsko-dalmatinska (1992) and Banica Credo štedionica (1997).
In April 2002, when the Bank was approved by the Croatian National Bank as a bank with small business authorization, the Bank was working under the name of Splitsko-dalmatinska banka, and since 1 March 2004 the Bank has been working under the present name of Banka splitsko-dalmatinska (BSD).
Right from the beginning, the Bank has based its work on retail operations through active and passive banking transactions, in pursuit of being recognized as small, efficient and modern bank directing its work to the client as the individual, recognizing his needs.
The scope of the Bank is growth and improvement of its market position, increase of the product and service pallet and still better and more qualitative approach to the clients.
Since its foundation till today, the Bank has been in private ownership and the Bank share capital amounts to HRK 47,162,000.00.
